Lake District Glamping in Borrowdale
Welcome to Borrowdale Glamping pods which are situated in an elevated position at Hollows Farm campsite in the Borrowdale Valley just 1/2 mile from the hamlet of Grange – nestled under Goat Crag & Maiden Moor and in-sight of the river Derwent.
Heading south from the site you are immediately at Castle Crag, the smallest of the Wainwright’s and home of the famous Milican Dalton, where you can visit the cave he lived in. The list of fell tops goes on from Catbells, High Spy & Robinson (locally) to the high fells of Scafell Pike & Great Gabel at the south end of the valley.
If the fells aren’t for you then there are plenty of low land walks right from your pod, and you can link these in with the valley open-top bus or the launch on Derwentwater Lake, stopping at tea rooms along the way.
The bustling market town of Keswick is just 5 miles away with plenty of shops bars & restaurants, the area also has a range of outdoor activities including Via Ferrata, Underground Mine Tours, Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, Sailing and Rock Climbing to name a few.
